Military Family Fee Waiver
Scouting America is Waiving the National Registration Fee for Children of Active-Duty, National Guard, and Reserve Families
Scouting America is proud to announce a new opportunity to support military families: the $85 national youth registration fee is being waived for eligible new and renewing members. The program begins June 1, 2026 and is funded through national donations.
Who’s Eligible?
Youth in families with current service in:
- Active Duty
- Reserve
- National Guard
How It Works (Online Registration Only)
- Complete your youth registration online
- At checkout, select “Get Military Family Discount”
- Complete the verification process
- Apply the provided discount code
- Finish checkout
ℹ️ Important Details
- The waiver applies only to the $85 national registration fee
- Local council, unit, elective, and processing fees may still apply
- The national fee may appear at checkout but is removed after verification
- Available for online registrations only
⚠️ Note: Scouting Arizona, Grand Canyon Council program fees and add-ons (such as Scouting Magazine) are not included in this waiver.
