2026 Scouting Day of Service
Date: Saturday, February 7, 2026 (First Saturday of February)
Who: All Scouting Arizona (Grand Canyon Council) units
Where: Your local community
Scouting happens in neighborhoods, schools, parks, and communities across Arizona—and on the first Saturday of February each year, we unite for one shared purpose: service.
Scouting Day of Service is a council-wide opportunity for units to complete a meaningful service project that meets a real need in their local community. Whether large or small, every project makes a difference and helps demonstrate the impact Scouts have across Arizona.

What Is Scouting Day of Service?
Scouting Day of Service is a flexible, unit-led service initiative. Units choose a project that best fits their community’s needs and their Scouts’ abilities. Projects may be completed on Saturday, February 7, 2026, or within a reasonable timeframe around that date if scheduling requires.
This day builds on the long-standing Scouting tradition of helping others and encourages every Scout to take part in a Good Turn.
Why Participate?
Scouting is local—but together, we can achieve something incredible. Scouting Day of Service shows our communities that Scouts are leaders, helpers, and difference-makers.
Thank you for being part of Scouting Arizona’s tradition of service.
