Camperships

Camperships/Scholarships Available for Grand Canyon Council, BSA Youth, and Adults:

General Campership

A campership is designed to help youth of all ages get to summer camps, youth trainings, and many more activities with little boundaries. Camperships are awarded based on the need and availability of funds.

Italian Heritage Campership

Available for any Grand Canyon Council youth of Italian descent registered in Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, or Venturing. Full and Partial Camperships may be awarded based on the need and availability of funds. On the campership form there is a section that asks, “Are you of Italian descent” Be sure to mark “Yes” if applying for these funds.

LGBTQIA+ Campership

The Kellenberger + Tollefson Center for LGBTQ Philanthropy has funded a scholarship for youth, adults, and children of LGBTQ+ parents; who are currently registered in Scouting programs and those wishing to join. Please be sure to complete the section related to the LGBTQIA+ Scholarship.

All Campership funds are available to assist with the following:

• BSA/GCC membership registration fees
• Summer program “Camperships” (scholarships)
• Training program scholarships for youth and adults
• Uniform and Scouting equipment assistance
• Summer Camp Staff uniform and equipment assistance
